A 3D studio built for the scroll.

BlackWoxel designs and renders the visuals brands launch with. A brief might be one product shot or a whole world, and we turn it into social content for the months after launch.

01 The single voxel

Built one voxel at a time.

A voxel is one cube of 3D space, the smallest thing you can build with. We think about scenes the same way: a model, then a material, then a light, each one there for a reason.

Most of the job is small decisions, and we fuss over every one of them. Nobody notices a good reflection on a bottle cap. Everybody notices a bad one.

02 Every screen

One film, cut for every screen.

A launch film has to hold up at full size and in the first second of a scroll, so we plan for both from day one. You get masters for the campaign and cuts for every screen it lives on: 9:16, 4:5 and 16:9.

We check the tall crop while we light and animate, long before the edit, so the product doesn't get cut off at the edge of a phone.

04 Working together

From brief to delivery.

  1. Brief

It starts with a call about the product, who it's for and where the work will run. Then we send a plan with the scope, the schedule and the price.

  2. Look-dev

Before we build anything, we design the look in still frames: light, materials, colour and mood. You pick a direction while changes are still quick to make.

  3. Build

We model the scene, then light and animate it. You see rough motion first, so we agree timing and camera moves with you before the slow, full-quality renders start.

  4. Render

We render the final frames at full quality, then grade them and add sound design.

  5. Deliver

You get the masters plus every cut-down your channels need, sized for each platform. If the campaign needs more later, we cut it from the same scenes.

06 Questions

What brands ask us first.

  1. How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope. A single product film or a set of stills usually takes a few weeks from brief to delivery, and a campaign with several films takes longer. Send us your launch date and we'll say straight away whether it's realistic.

  2. What should we send you?

Whatever you have: product photos, CAD files or a physical sample, your brand guidelines, a few references you like, where the work will run and your deadline. A rough brief is fine. We'll shape it with you on the first call.

  3. How do revisions work?

You see the work at every stage and sign off before we move on: the look, then the motion, then the final renders. Changes are quick early on and slow after rendering, which is why we agree the look first. The proposal sets out how many rounds of changes are included.

  4. Which formats do we get?

You get masters for the campaign plus native cuts for each channel it runs on: 9:16, 4:5 and 16:9, with loops and ad variants if you need them. Tell us where the work will live and we'll plan the crops from day one.

  5. How do you price a project?

Each project gets its own quote, based on the number of shots, how long the films run and how many cut-downs you need. Send us a brief and we'll come back with a price and a schedule. Ongoing social content can also run as a monthly retainer.

  6. Who owns the work, and where can we use it?

We agree usage for each project and put it in the proposal, so you know where the work can run and for how long. If you need a full buyout, tell us at the start.

  7. Can we work with you remotely?

Yes. We're based in India and work with brands around the world. Briefs, reviews and sign-offs happen over email and video calls, at times that suit both time zones.

  8. Can you keep an unreleased product confidential?

Yes. We're happy to sign an NDA before you share anything, and work on unreleased products stays private until you launch.

  9. Do you only work in 3D?

Mostly. We also make hand-painted 2D animation and motion design for stories that need a lighter touch.

  10. How do we start?

Send the form below with a few lines about the project, or use Schedule a meeting to book a call. We reply within two working days.
